Upon graduating she joined a local firm of Chartered Accountants to gain her professional qualification. She stayed with the practice for thirteen years, moving from junior to partner in that time. In 1991 she founded Clarke’s Chartered Accountants. Her main interest is in the accountancy and business services side of the practice. Pamela has had an active interest in the Northern Society of Chartered Accountants for several years and was honoured to be appointed its President in 2007. Outside of work she enjoys theatre and the arts. Peter Cronin Tax Partner After graduating in Mathematics, Peter trained as a Chartered Accountant in an independent firm in Newcastle gaining valuable experience in various aspects of accountancy before finding his vocation in the tax department. He then moved to Ernst and Young, where he stayed for four years, building on his tax knowledge before joining Clarke’s as Tax Partner in 1993. Samantha Hill Audit and Accounts Manager Samantha came to Clarke’s in 2006 for a two-week work experience. She stayed working part-time while studying for an Accounting and Finance degree at Northumbria University. She graduated in 2007 and stayed with the practice to train as a Chartered Accountant. She qualified in 2012 and is heavily involved in the accountancy services provided to our clients. Robbie Swan Accounting Technician Robbie joined the practice in 2016 and did an apprenticeship in Business Administration. Robbie followed this qualification by going on to qualify as an Accounting Technician. He is currently continuing his progression by studying for his Chartered Accountancy qualification.
