From a modest base of four team members the firm quickly established a reputation for quality service and advice We are a 10 director firm (consisting of 4 directors and 6 *associate directors) assisted by an experienced team of able and qualified individuals with a wealth and breadth of knowledge across all accounting, taxation and business disciplines, built up over many years. As a proactive company our whole team is committed to offering the absolute highest level of service to our clients in order to provide them with a full choice of bespoke business services and specialised advice specifically tailored to their professional and/or personal needs. By 1998 the team had expanded to 12 people, including two Senior Managers, Antony Tutt and Mark Britland, who were both made principal in 1998. The promotion of Antony and Mark led to a significant growth spurt, with many new clients from a diverse range of businesses transferring their affairs into the care of the firm. With the retirement of a founding Partner in 2001, the firm restructured into two separate legal entities – Magee Gammon Corporate Limited and Magee Gammon Partnership LLP. It was one of the first accountancy practices in the UK to become a limited liability partnership. In 2008 Magee Gammon moved to newly converted bespoke offices in Henwood, Ashford. With the continual expansion of the firm Abhi Jain and Roland Parry were promoted to principal in 2010. In 2013 Andy Childs and his team joined Magee Gammon after the acquisition of the Ashford branch of Larkings Chartered Accountants and was appointed a principal in 2015. In April 2019 the LLP ceased and transferred into Magee Gammon Corporate Limited and in March 2020 managing director Jon Gammon retired and is currently working with us on a consultancy basis. Magee Gammon continues to grow and develop to its now present size of 10 directors and over 40 experienced support staff. *Associate Directors of the firm are not directors of Magee Gammon Corporate Limited, and are not subject to the obligations and responsibilities of directors within Part 10 of the Companies Act 2006.
