Jo is the main contact for all clients, even when she is knee-deep in cow poo or hauling bales on her husband’s dairy farm. EMAIL JO Roger Thomas FCA Founding Partner1940 – 2024 Roger spent 25 years as a globetrotting auditor and settled in Bradford on Avon before establishing the practice in 1981. He gained his ACA fellowship of 50 years service in 2014 and grew the practice into what it is today. We will all miss him immensely. EMAIL ROGER Begoña Garcia Senior Accountant Begoña joined Thomas & Ellis as senior accountant in spring 2014 after four years at Monahans and nine years at Richardson Groves. Begonia does a brilliant job of keeping everyone in line and making sure the office is always as warm as Barcelona. EMAIL BEGONIA Anna Goodship BSc (Hons), FCCA Consultant Finance Director Anna works as a consultant finance director on an ad hoc or regular basis for our clients. Before freelancing, Anna worked as Finance Director for a group of companies with turnover in excess of £150m, including one that was placed in the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 awards in 2014. With her unique combination of strategic, financial and interpersonal skills, Anna helps our clients assess their situation and plot a path to success. EMAIL ANNA Lucy Quentin Hicks Accountant Lucy joined Thomas and Ellis in early 2019 after moving away from city life. She is our resident ‘roving’ accountant who spends more time at clients than she does in the office. It means she knows her clients businesses inside out which is at the centre of one of her most valuable skills – attention to detail. Karen is great at unravelling tricky payroll problems and she is unflappable in a crisis, which ensures clients and staff get paid accurately and on time. EMAIL KAREN Justine Williams BA(Hons), AICB CB.Cert Accounts Assistant Justine is a qualified bookkeeper, an Associate member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and has held a variety of accounting roles prior to joining Thomas & Ellis in January 2017. Her methodical and thorough approach means that she is ideally suited to providing the best possible support to the rest of the team and our clients. She is calm and organised under pressure and aims for gold standards when running the office so she is great at keeping everything running smoothly.
