Claire runs our Wiltshire office and is a Chartered Accountant having qualified as an ACA in 1999. Claire worked for KPMG for over 12 years before setting up CL Accounting (previously CL Finance Associates LLP) with Liz in 2009. Consequently, Claire has experience of both micro and global businesses and uses this knowledge when advising clients. Claire has learnt from her experience that taking time to get to know clients and their businesses results in an accurate, efficient and friendly service and deadlines being met. Outside of work Claire is Trustee and Chair of Hardenhuish Educational Trust, Trustee of Christian Malford Scarecrow Trail and Treasurer of Derry Hill United Football Club. Claire enjoys spending her time with her husband, Steve, and two children; usually doing something that involves football. Liz runs our Plymouth office and is a qualified ACCA member. Liz has worked in both industry and public practice roles. This enables her to understand how business works and the challenges faced. One of her strengths is the ability to explain the complexities of the accounting world in plain English to her clients. When Liz is not working she enjoys walking in Dartmoor with her husband, Andrew, her children and their dog.
