We are Principled, Passionate and Purposeful accountants who aim to create longstanding relationships with our clients through getting to know them and their businesses and supporting them through changes along the way. We aim to be seen as part of your team, taking care of the finance function so that you can focus on driving your business forward. Although we offer the full range of accountancy services (Year End Accounts, Tax returns, VAT, Payroll, Bookkeeping, Company Secretarial, etc.), we tailor those services to meet your specific needs. Our approach will be unique to you and aim to fill any gaps where you need our time or expertise. We embrace the future and are happy to adopt new technology or processes that help to make our work with you more efficient. However, it is never about the software replacing the personal touch and we focus on the story behind the numbers. Our combined years of experience and continued emphasis on learning enable us to offer practical insights and updates. Our clients are owner managed businesses ranging from sole traders through to medium sized limited companies. Generally, our clients are located in South Essex, being Billericay based we are able to visit a wide local area, but some from further afield have also found their way to us. Our clients also cover a wide range of business sectors with particular strength in the building industry and the motor trade. MEET THE TEAM Chris Humpage, FCA Company Director Chris is the lynchpin of 3P Accountants. Chris has an extensive knowledge of advising business owners on the challenges and opportunities that may come their way. Having spent over 30 years in the accounting profession working both locally and in London he has learnt how to balance looking at the finer detail with the bigger picture. His experience provides him with a cross-service viewpoint that helps him provide holistic solutions to client problems. Despite his many years, Chris remains both keen to learn for himself and to teach the next generation of the profession. Away from the office he would like to spend more time on a golf course and his bike than he currently does (though not at the same time). Kim Sharp, MAAT Manager Kim is ambitious and visionary in her approach to working with clients. From the experience that Kim gained in bookkeeping means that clients can trust her to take care of all their record keeping, VAT, CIS, and payroll requirements or to be on hand to answer queries when something out of the ordinary occurs if they do this in-house. Kim never likes to leave a problem unsolved and will go the extra mile to ensure that deadlines are met with room to spare. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, going on holiday, cooking, being social and going out. Helen Calver Administrator Helen is fundamental to 3P, providing great client service by ensuring that our internal systems and processes are kept shipshape. She is the first person you speak to when contacting the office. She is also responsible for ensuring the annual Companies House compliance service runs smoothly. When not at work she enjoys spending time in her garden. She has a passion for designer handbags and is obsessed with cats and candles, though not at the same time. Colby Fletcher, AAT Accounts Assistant Colby has been a key member of the team for over four years. He specialises in bookkeeping, including VAT and CIS, and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Colby works hard to ensure that records are kept in the best way to give business owners the financial information they need in real-time and to make the statutory accounts process as smooth as possible. In his free time, he enjoys performing musical theatre and is the treasurer of his local group, playing 5 a side football and learning the guitar. Rachel Banford Accounts Assistant Although being relatively new to the profession and still gaining her qualifications, Rachel has a range of experience through dividing her time between bookkeeping and statutory accounts. The combination of these two enable her to prepare company records with a view to the final reporting and to prepare accounts, understanding how the transactions have been put together. Out of the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves shopping, and is obsessed with her new puppy. Although we offer the full range of accountancy services (Year End Accounts, Tax returns, VAT, Payroll, Bookkeeping, Company Secretarial, etc.), we tailor those services to meet your specific needs. Our approach will be unique to you and aim to fill any gaps where you need our time or expertise. We embrace the future and are happy to adopt new technology or processes that help to make our work with you more efficient. However, it is never about the software replacing the personal touch and we focus on the story behind the numbers. Our combined years of experience and continued emphasis on learning enable us to offer practical insights and updates. Our clients are owner managed businesses ranging from sole traders through to medium sized limited companies. Generally, our clients are located in South Essex, being Billericay based we are able to visit a wide local area, but some from further afield have also found their way to us. Our clients also cover a wide range of business sectors with particular strength in the building industry and the motor trade. MEET THE TEAM Chris Humpage, FCA Company Director Chris is the lynchpin of 3P Accountants. Chris has an extensive knowledge of advising business owners on the challenges and opportunities that may come their way. Having spent over 30 years in the accounting profession working both locally and in London he has learnt how to balance looking at the finer detail with the bigger picture. His experience provides him with a cross-service viewpoint that helps him provide holistic solutions to client problems. Despite his many years, Chris remains both keen to learn for himself and to teach the next generation of the profession. Away from the office he would like to spend more time on a golf course and his bike than he currently does (though not at the same time). Kim Sharp, MAAT Manager Kim is ambitious and visionary in her approach to working with clients. From the experience that Kim gained in bookkeeping means that clients can trust her to take care of all their record keeping, VAT, CIS, and payroll requirements or to be on hand to answer queries when something out of the ordinary occurs if they do this in-house. Kim never likes to leave a problem unsolved and will go the extra mile to ensure that deadlines are met with room to spare. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, going on holiday, cooking, being social and going out. Helen Calver Administrator Helen is fundamental to 3P, providing great client service by ensuring that our internal systems and processes are kept shipshape. She is the first person you speak to when contacting the office. She is also responsible for ensuring the annual Companies House compliance service runs smoothly. When not at work she enjoys spending time in her garden. She has a passion for designer handbags and is obsessed with cats and candles, though not at the same time. Colby Fletcher, AAT Accounts Assistant Colby has been a key member of the team for over four years. He specialises in bookkeeping, including VAT and CIS, and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Colby works hard to ensure that records are kept in the best way to give business owners the financial information they need in real-time and to make the statutory accounts process as smooth as possible. In his free time, he enjoys performing musical theatre and is the treasurer of his local group, playing 5 a side football and learning the guitar. Rachel Banford Accounts Assistant Although being relatively new to the profession and still gaining her qualifications, Rachel has a range of experience through dividing her time between bookkeeping and statutory accounts. The combination of these two enable her to prepare company records with a view to the final reporting and to prepare accounts, understanding how the transactions have been put together. Out of the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends, loves shopping, and is obsessed with her new puppy.
