HCL Accountancy is dedicated to and expert in, providing flexible and skilled services to meet the needs of your every changing environment. Our office is based in Rochford, near Southend-On-Sea, Essex. Our team comprises of professionally qualified and experienced staff and we are regulated and monitored by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) OUR PEOPLE Alan Harman Having trained in private practice, this gave me a solid foundation and all round teaching within finance, where I gained a practicing certificate. Being technically strong and a commercially astute Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), I am an excellent communicator and strategic thinker. I have the expertise in financial management and business partnering, including achievements in board-level interface, investor, legal, banking and audit relations. I specialise in creating value to the business, building high performing teams, professionalising the finance functions and developing policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control, with an incisive eye on cost control and cash management. When I am not working with SME’s to help build and understand their business, you will find me on the golf course trying to improve my handicap, or with family eating out and enjoying shows. Jared Chin-a-Loy Having gained experience within private practise but also worked within the public and private sector, I feel I have an insight into finance from various perspectives. This perspective provides a useful tool which I can use to assist clients from a variety of backgrounds and those who have dealings with these sectors. I am a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), and this training has ensured that I am comfortable in communicating at an individual level or at a board level depending on the requirements. You may have seen my photo in the local press, and this would be due to my involvement with the Rochford Chamber of Trade where I am currently the interim Chairman. As the interim Chairman I am responsible for providing a voice of the local businesses of Rochford, when required, and these articles are on our website. Further to this, you may have seen me around Southend due to my hobby as a member of Southend Band, a local brass band which performs on a regular basis in and around Southend. I have been a member of the band for over 25 years now and I still continue to play. Our office is based in Rochford, near Southend-On-Sea, Essex. Our team comprises of professionally qualified and experienced staff and we are regulated and monitored by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) OUR PEOPLE Alan Harman Having trained in private practice, this gave me a solid foundation and all round teaching within finance, where I gained a practicing certificate. Being technically strong and a commercially astute Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA), I am an excellent communicator and strategic thinker. I have the expertise in financial management and business partnering, including achievements in board-level interface, investor, legal, banking and audit relations. I specialise in creating value to the business, building high performing teams, professionalising the finance functions and developing policies and procedures to ensure the sound financial management and control, with an incisive eye on cost control and cash management. When I am not working with SME’s to help build and understand their business, you will find me on the golf course trying to improve my handicap, or with family eating out and enjoying shows. Jared Chin-a-Loy Having gained experience within private practise but also worked within the public and private sector, I feel I have an insight into finance from various perspectives. This perspective provides a useful tool which I can use to assist clients from a variety of backgrounds and those who have dealings with these sectors. I am a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), and this training has ensured that I am comfortable in communicating at an individual level or at a board level depending on the requirements. You may have seen my photo in the local press, and this would be due to my involvement with the Rochford Chamber of Trade where I am currently the interim Chairman. As the interim Chairman I am responsible for providing a voice of the local businesses of Rochford, when required, and these articles are on our website. Further to this, you may have seen me around Southend due to my hobby as a member of Southend Band, a local brass band which performs on a regular basis in and around Southend. I have been a member of the band for over 25 years now and I still continue to play.
