Does the Chancellor’s speech tell us anything new about the Autumn Budget? In an attempt to settle some of the anxiety, Rachel Reeves has delivered a speech wherein she wanted to set the context for the Autumn Budget. However, the lack of concrete details has allowed additional speculation to manifest causing more concern for the end of the month. The Chancellor’s speech did not reveal any concrete details that could have allayed fears about the Autumn Budget. Specifically, Reeves’s inability to rule out breaking any of Labour’s manifesto pledges has caused many to assume that Income Tax increases are assured. Its residential care home in Leeds and two sheltered accommodation schemes in Ilkley and Knaresborough provide accommodation for elderly Christian Scientists and like-minded people. The charity can trace its origins back to 1530 during the reign of King Henry VIII, when Thomas Wade left property in his will, which has since been added to by others, for the benefit of the people of Leeds. Now managed by its Trustees – the monies produce an income from which grants are offered to Leeds-based charities and community groups.
