Ost.OSTEOPATHKate discovered osteopathy after experiencing her own difficulties with ongoing neck and shoulder pain in her 20s while training hard at the gym.She qualified with a Masters of Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy in London in 2014 and after working as the head of an osteopathy team in Germany in a large, multidisciplinary clinic, Kate returned to the Southwest to swap mountains for the coast and see more of family and friends.Kate developed a special interest in women’s health after training with Renzo Molinari (of the Molinari Institute) in Munich. She also enjoys visceral osteopathy and lifestyle management. She is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist and complements her osteopathy with Medical Acupuncture.When not at work, Kate enjoys strength training, cycling and yoga and has a passion for swing dancing and hiking, leading walks for a local group, but she also loves a cuppa and a book. KIERON KERR M. OstOSTEOPATHKieron qualified from the British School of Osteopathy and has many years of experience. He firmly believes that Osteopathy can help anyone with any complaint.He came to Osteopathy following a long term cricketing injury. He now specialises in treating patients with long term conditions, sporting injuries, shoulder injuries, nerve pain and rehabilitation of the foot and ankle.Kieron is also a senior lecturer in Osteopathy at Marjon University and is embarking on a phd!When not working Kieron enjoys taking his family to the beach and playing golf, the guitar and the piano. MEGAN MARCHLEWSKI M. Ost.OSTEOPATHMegan graduated from Marjon University with a first class Masters Degree in Osteopathy.She has a special interest in neck and upper limb pain.Megan’s approach to treatment focusses on individuals as a whole and also incorporates how lifestyle factors, including stress, can impact physical conditions and recovery. Megan found her passion for Osteopathy after suffering her own injuries as a competitive gymnast. After receiving treatment from an Osteopath, Megan began to understand how effective manual therapy can be for both acute and chronic pain. Megan attended her first gymnastics lesson at the age of 3 and after falling in love with the sport, competed and coached for 12 years, developing an understanding of the biomechanics of the body. Megan enjoys going for walks in the Devon countryside, swimming in the sea and playing the piano. She also has a passion for watching amateur and professional level rugby, and supports her local Devonport team. CAMILLE FRADIN M. Ost.OSTEOPATH & MASSAGE THERAPISTCamille first discovered osteopathy during her yoga teacher training in Canada, where she developed a passion for understanding the human body and the power of healing through movement. She went on to graduate from Plymouth Marjon University with a first-class master’s degree in osteopathy.Teaching yoga continues to be an important part of her practice, and alongside her additional qualification in massage, Camille blends these skills to offer a gentle and supportive approach. She aims to help each patient feel more comfortable in their body, restore movement with ease, and improve overall well-being.She has a particular interest in women’s health and chronic pain.Outside the clinic, Camille enjoys a good book, cycling on sunny days, or taking a quick trip to France, where she is from. MIKE BRUCE BSc (Ost), BSc HONSOSTEOPATHMike wanted to be an osteopath from a young age after he saw first-hand how effective treatment could be. After graduating with a first class degree from Nottingham University in Biology, he went on to study osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy in London.Mike qualified in 1994 and brings a wealth of experience to the clinic. He has special interests in nerve root pain, sciatica and ergonomics.He is skilled at interfacing with NHS services having previously worked on a NHS community back pain service.He is married to Pia and they have 2 teenage sons. PIA MUDALIAR BSc (Ost) CNHC registeredMASSAGE THERAPISTPia qualified with a degree in Osteopathy in 1994 and set up the P.O.C. with Mike a few years later. She worked as an Osteopath until the birth of her second son, when she took a career break, returning to work as a Massage Therapist in 2008.Pia has a unique style. Her background in osteopathy means that she can offer a professional and clinical approach, whilst her years of experience and high levels of empathy enable her to work intuitively. By optimising the body’s function we allow your natural healing to take place.Osteopathy is a hands-on, drug free therapy. We use manual techniques like joint mobilisation, soft tissue stretching, massage and ‘HVT’ to encourage movement and flexibility in restricted joints and muscles.As well as using massage for soft tissue release, we have a range of techniques we can use to encourage mobility in restricted joints. I’m originally from Paris and started my working life in tourism. I’ve always been drawn to northern places and lived for a while in Iceland and Canada, where I discovered the joys of hiking and spending time outdoors. I first came across Osteopathy during my yoga teacher training and was intrigued, but my journey into Osteopathy really began on a snowy winters day in Canada when I fractured my knee.That experience not only changed how I moved but also how I understood the body, and it inspired me to retrain as an osteopath at Marjon in Plymouth.Settling in the UK brought me a little closer to my family while still allowing me to live in a fairly “cool” country (though not quite as cold as Iceland or Canada! ).My approach to osteopathy is mostly structural, but it’s something that continues to grow with me.I believe no two bodies are the same, so my focus is always on understanding what will work best for you.I see osteopathy as a true partnership: I guide and support your body’s ability to heal, while helping you gain the knowledge and confidence to feel your best day to day. I enjoy giving patients small takeaways to use at home, whether that’s exercises, movement ideas, or lifestyle tips, so that together we can support your wellbeing both in and out of the clinic. In my freetime I enjoy outdoor pusuits.Since my injury, hiking has taken a step back, and I’m still working on regaining the confidence to go on longer hikes and feel steady again.In the meantime, I’ve come to enjoy cycling, especially when it comes to taking cycling holidays and exploring new places at a slower pace.I also have a big interest in food, seeing it not only as one of life’s great pleasures but also as a powerful tool to support healing and overall health.I am really happy to join the team here in Plympton and look forward to meeting some of you soon.
