SRMT Massage Therapist Meet Sophie Qualifying from St. Mary’s University with a Sports Science Degree in 2010, Sophie went on to work within the sports industry for UK Sport as an administrator throughout the 2012 Olympic Games and beyond. Having suffered various injuries mainly from playing Netball, Sophie discovered Sports Masasge and Chiropractic treatments which prompted her to combine her passion of sport with helping people, by studying a Diploma Level 5 in Sport and Remedial Massage, at the London School of Sports Massage. Using Sports Masasge and Soft Tissue Therapy techniques, Sophie’s passion is to help people on their journey of healing by offering a treatment which aims to give people back their confidence in trusting their bodies again. Once the feeling of pain and discomfort is lessened, this enables the body to move more freely so that functional movement and strength can then be built upon.
