A healthy and active lifestyle is a key part of that. As a chiropractor, I take a special interest in nutrition and supplements, lower limb biomechanics and promoting good health and fitness. My passion is helping all my patients to achieve their goals and get back to doing the things they love. Outside work, I keep active and challenge myself through CrossFit. His change of career was partly due to his own chiropractic experience. Ray’s own experience with back pain Ray had always enjoyed an active lifestyle. But this was put on hold when a rock climbing session triggered sharp, shooting pains in his lower back. Frustrated by the lack of treatment available, Ray became determined to find the source of his pain. And this led to his first chiropractic appointment The chiropractor was able to pinpoint the root cause of his issue. Then, with treatment and support, helped him recover and get back to the active lifestyle he loved. The experience inspired Ray to take his career in a new direction. Retraining as a chiropractor In 2016, Ray took the decision to retrain as a chiropractor and started a course at AECC University College, Bournemouth. When he qualified, he was employed as a chiropractor in another clinic. But after two years, he decided he wanted to do things his own way. Opening his clinic In 2022, Ray opened his first clinic in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. And in 2023, he moved his clinic to a new premises in Trowbridge. Having his own clinic has given him the freedom to focus more on helping his patients and giving them what they need. This includes having the flexibility to bring in different tools and techniques, and to advise on supplements and diet. It also means he can devote more time to his own personal development. Because his goal is to continue learning, evolving, and improving. Developing better assessment and treatment and giving his patients the best possible care. Frustrated by the lack of treatment available, Ray became determined to find the source of his pain.
