Education Introduced to competitive sport from an early age, I was always interested in the workings of the human body. To pursue a career in my area of interest, I began my higher education by graduating with a First Degree Honours in Exercise Science, Health & Rehabilitation from Bournemouth University. Owing to half of the tuition being taught from the beautiful building of the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, I became increasingly drawn to this phenomenal profession. I proceeded onto the Master of Chiropractic programme graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Experience Throughout my 5 years in practice I have enjoyed supporting many community events from giving short presentations on health and chiropractic, to providing manual therapies at large sporting events. My reputation has gifted me the pleasure of caring for thousands of local people, including assisting some of our most talented local athletes in pursuing and attaining national and international titles. With ever evolving knowledge in healthcare, I regularly attend courses to keep up-to-date with the most recent research so I can provide the best care possible. Special Interests I am always astounded by stories of people living for years in pain before they accept that it is not normal and seek help. Many people may have already considered other available options before they discover chiropractic care. I love to witness how dramatically people’s lives can be transformed even after years of suffering. As well as defeating long-term complaints, as a sportsperson I have particular interest in managing acute injuries of all parts of the body. It is a common misconception that chiropractors only treat back and neck problems. In fact chiropractors are fully trained to manage injuries of all parts of the spine and extremities. Chiropractic care is not only extremely effective in the recovery from sports injuries but also may improve performance or prevent injuries occurring in the first place. My Mission Chiropractic Care provides a primary contact point for the delivery of the highest quality, empathetic, effective, up-to-date clinical care for those experiencing a range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions. We strive to promote and assist optimum health for all in the community. Favourite Off-Topic Things to Do Outside of weekday office hours, you will usually find me at my local boxing club trying to survive the usually devastating workout put-on by the club coaches. As a new found hobby I have been introduced to a new level of (pursued) physical fitness that I never knew existed. At the weekends I do my best to find the time to get in a long run. I am a long distance runner through and through and enjoy the challenge of trying to maintain my pace for as long as possible. My one and only Bournemouth Marathon to-date was in 2015, with my finishing time fortunately good enough to secure me an automatic qualification place for the London Marathon. I completed the London Marathon in 2017 which was an incredible experience and great atmosphere even it was the hottest London Marathon ever recorded!
